Michea Oring, Associate Marriage & Family Therapist  #142732
Supervised by Brooke Grandison, LCSW

“I come along side those who are wandering in difficulty, ready to offer clinical
guidance to unlock a life of mental health abundance.”

Michea, AMFT, has developed a working knowledge of evidence-based theoretical orientations along with an empathetic demeanor over the past few years while servicing diverse populations including children and adults from various backgrounds. She has pursued collaborative healing with those whose journey includes navigating faith, relational dynamics, the foster care system, and those ready to explore and remedy traumatic challenges. Michea currently continues to support those seeking healing and a transformed life.

Michea interweaves Person-Centered Therapy (Rogerian), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
(CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) as preferable and appropriate for client care. She maintains the thought process that therapy is both an art and a science and while carefully incorporating the sciences, art and the abstract can also aid in the exploration of the self, especially pertaining to personality and one’s culture. Thus, both these theoretical orientations and mindfulness of the arts are used to cohesively conceptualize and treat a wide range of human experiences including depression, anxiety, mood-related patterns, emotional dysregulation, and trauma-related symptomology.
