Monique Black-Clark
Associate Marriage & Family Therapist #117927
Supervised by Brooke Grandison, LCSW
Location: Telehealth
I provide counseling to individuals, families, and couples who may be experiencing Trauma, Anxiety, Depression, Anger Management, Grief/Loss, Addictions, Relationship or Parenting concerns and/or Life Transitions. They may be looking for a way forward. but a more balanced, meaningful life where they feel empowered, understood, and whole.
As a Therapist, I take a client-centered approach; meeting the client where they are at. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to identify potentially destructive thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Clients can then explore and develop healthier coping strategies which will lead to a better quality of life. I also utilize Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to teach skills to help individuals live in the present moment, cope with stress, regulate emotions, and improve relationships.

Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, it’s a personal journey of growth and change. I believe healing happens in a safe, non-judgmental environment where you can be honest, open, and vulnerable. Together, we explore what’s holding you back and work toward creating the life you want to live.

In our work together, you’ll find a space where you are listened to with empathy and without judgment. I strive to make every client feel seen, heard, and supported. Through our partnership, my goal is to help you:

-
Heal from past trauma
-
Reduce anxiety and depression
-
Strengthen emotional resilience
-
Improve your relationships
-
Reconnect with yourself
-
Lead a more joyful, authentic life
Therapy is an investment in yourself. It's a step toward freedom from the burdens of the past and a commitment to building a future rooted in self-awareness, strength, and connection.
